Enrichment Centre
Me. Kontrak haar gerus indien u bekommerd is oor u kind se ontwikkeling.
Waardevolle ondersteuning word ook deur me. Thea Malherbe (Tale en Wiskunde), me. An-Johlene Snyders (Taal - Grondslagfase leerders), me.

Collaborative Approach for Comprehensive Support
In collaboration with the Western Cape Education Department (WCED), we have established strong ties that allow us to utilise their valuable expertise in Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language, scholastic evaluation and Educational Psychology. Regular visits from these departments ensure that we uphold the School-Based Support Team (SBST) processes (SIAS), focusing on delivering tailored support to referred learners. Our newly formed SBST team, comprising of our Principal, Deputy Head, Heads of Department and SBST Co-Ordinator meet fortnightly to ensure adherence to WCED guidelines, providing the highest quality support.
Expanding Horizons of Support
Our commitment to educational support extends beyond the Foundation Phase to the Intermediate and Senior phase. Alongside exam preparation and learning support, we are thrilled to introduce our Smart Start Programme, facilitating opportunities for learners to develop their Numeracy, Literacy, Social and Emotional Skills through play and learning. This student-centered approach encourages collaboration and active learning in a safe, nurturing environment. Students are given the opportunity to work alongside their peers four times a week for intensive tutoring – results have shown that this kind of approach bears much fruit.
Innovative Programme for Development
One of our standout offerings is the Movee Performance Mats programme, which focuses on developing essential skills like strength, agility, balance, and coordination. This programme is supported and developed by movement and child experts and our school has seen huge improvements in children’s concentration and confidence. Sessions run twice a week and currently our school is able to cater for 20 students participating at a time, thanks to generous donations made by our parent supporters. Our hope is to further develop this initiative through the purchase of more Movee Mats and Movee programmes.
